The hope of Christ, my hiding place
How beautiful Your saving grace
The love of God will ever be
A sanctuary, Lord, to me.

Jesus, before Thy face I fall
My Lord, my life, my hope, my all
For I have nowhere else to flee
No sanctuary, Lord, but Thee.

In You, I see what's good and true
Your safety, strength, and beauty, too
Beloved Savior, ever be
A sanctuary Lord to me.

Whatever woes and fears betide
You'll be my shelter where I hide
And as I pour my soul to Thee

Approaching is a day ahead
When Thee will lay my soul to rest
O, what a joy this witness gives
Jesus, my sanctuary lives.

And from the grave You'll raise me up
To sing forever of Your love
And when in glory I'll adore
