I was born in 1981 in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa. From a very young age I have been creatively expressing myself - my love for art is something that has been shaping my identity ever since. My late mother used to say that I was able to draw pictures even before walking! As a graduate of the University of Pretoria with a degree in Information Design (2004), I aim to bring both technical insight and heartfelt expression to every canvas I touch. Through the rich, expressive medium of oil paint,

I have found my true voice by painting full-time since 2012.

My art is rooted in my Christian faith and my intimate relationship with my saviour, Jesus Christ.

I have a deep passion for painting people, especially women and children, and I find my inspiration through the natural beauty that surrounds us: the world where flowers bloom and light dances across every surface. Colour, light and emotions are at the heart of my work, guiding each brushstroke with a sense of wonder and purpose. Flowers, birds, and butterflies become reflections of something deeper in my hands. My love for God's creation is woven into every brushstroke, and I aim to fill my artworks with a soft, peaceful palette that draws the viewer in.

For me, painting is more than just a creative outlet—it is a celebration of God's goodness, abundance, and the gift of life itself. Each piece is a testament to God’s love and unending mercy. With my heart tuned to both beauty and emotion, I paint not only what I see but also what I feel: moments of grace, joy, tenderness, and the quiet miracles of everyday moments.
